About Poodles
The moyen Poodle is one of the most obedient and smartest dogs, which combines a playful enthusiasm and an adventurous spirit. This dog has provided very good personality for any other french dog. It’s very loyal and smart dog breed perfect for adoption. They have a terrific sense of humor and are natural-born clowns. Being the center of attention makes them happy.
The poodle is an active, intelligent and elegant dog, squarely built. The skull is moderately rounded with a slight but definite stop. It has a long, straight muzzle.
The eyes should be very dark, oval in shape, and have an alert and intelligent expression. The ears should fold over close to the head, set at, or slightly below, eye level. It has a large amount of energy and has a very playful attitude.
This breed can make an excellent watchdog but doesn’t do well as a guard dog. Poodles are highly trainable dogs that typically excel in obedience training.
A poodle will do well at many dog sports, including dog agility etc. They have a kindly demeanor and a love of playing games. A Standard Min Poodle dog will be perfect for family and children.
All three sizes of poodles for the Australian National Kennel Council and the New Zealand Kennel Club are in the Non-sporting Group. The exact height cutoffs among the varieties vary slightly from country to country.
